Chase Ryan Kerlin is a successful interior designer, furniture designer, and entrepreneur. He established a pattern of diligent work ethic and is constantly improving what he sees around him. After serving in the Marine Corps, Chase entered the home furnishings industry and trained under Amor Forwood, the CEO of Louis Shanks. In the near decade Chase spent at Louis Shanks, he sold over $25 million in furniture and helped over 7,500 customers in everything from quick sofa sales to “studs up” custom remodels. His passion about the mechanics of the furniture business, the skill of interior design, and the artistry of furniture design led him to start a series of companies curated to elevate the couture home. In 2020, Chase reimagined the furniture design and manufacturing process to co found luxury furniture manufacturer Olive & Wool. At their facility just outside Austin, the sole focus of Olive & Wool is to push the boundaries of furniture design and combine old world craftsmanship with the couture details.
StatementMy work focuses on exploring the natural character of wood, allowing its grain and hue to tell a unique story. In tandem, I utilize leather for its luxurious feel and durability. Each piece I create aims to be not just functional, but a testament to craftsmanship and design, a fusion of creation's gifts and artisan skill.
